To us, wedding photography is all about telling a story, the story of YOUR big day. We offer a professional, comprehensive and relaxed wedding/civil ceremony photography service. To avoid confusing packages and pricing structures for our customers, we offer just one all inclusive package, with 'add on' services if you require them.
- We specialise in a modern approach to wedding photography, with informal photo-journalistic coverage of your day. Any formal group shots you specify will be organised and completed with the minimum of time and effort.
- We spend time listening to your requirements and planning how best to cover your day, including pre-wedding consultations.
- Your event will be attended by two experienced photographers, allowing us to get more special photos, and different viewpoints as the day unfolds.
- After the event, photos from the day will be post-processed and supplied to you on computer disk, so you can share them with your family and friends, obtain your own prints or share on services like Facebook or email.
- Photos are also uploaded to a secure on-line Internet gallery, which can be shared with wedding guests.
- Professional quality prints and other products can be ordered directly from your gallery with the minimum of effort.
- Our package also includes a carefully crafted 'storybook' slideshow DVD of the best photographs from the day as it happened, for you and your family to enjoy for years to come. Three copies of the slideshow DVD are supplied as standard. Your picture DVD and slideshow DVD is supplied in a stylish custom leather double storage case.
We are also able to offer additional services, including
- relaxed engagement photography sessions before the wedding.
- Bridal Boudoir photo sessions for that extra special surprise gift for your husband to be.
- creative and personal 'Trash the Dress/Cherish the Dress' fashion photography sessions after your wedding day - for the more adventurous bride and groom.

Fork Handles Band promo Shoot
had a good photoshoot with local Rock band 'Fork Handles' on Saturday, at the atmospheric and historic location of the old ruined Church in Heptonstall. The guys were great and despite the mixed weather, we were able to get some interesting promo shots. Catch them on stage soon folks.
Southwood Lodge Wedding Fayre, Halifax
Myself and Maggie had a lovely day at the Southwood Lodge Wedding Fayre in Halifax - a big thank you to all the people who came over and said Hi. The fayre was the first wedding fayre for the venue, and it seemed to be a great success. Many visitors passed through the doors and it was also nice to meet some other great wedding service suppliers. A big thank you to the staff at Southwood who made us all feel very welcome and looked after.
As part of our special offer for the fayre, any Wedding or Civil ceremony booked before 15th May includes a free engagement photography session.

"Let's fly away" - Anon Lingerie Launch Away Fashion Show
Playing catchup here again, but had a great time (on Friday the 13th of all dates) the other week at the "Launch Away" Fashion Show, organised by my good buddy Rebecca Sedgewick at Anon Lingerie, in Elland (I'm not currently in the market for high quality ladies underwear myself, but if you are, and are in the neighborhood, please drop in.)
With a holiday theme, and put together by the wonderful friends and family of Anon, the show was a roaring success. A special appearance was even put in by the King himself, with Elvis both looking and sounding fantastic for his age (and rumoured passing in 1977.)
Fashions included products sold by Anon Lingerie, Sage & Onion and original designs by Zoe Reagan.
Last year, Blu Planet Photo organised and shot photos of several of Anon Lingerie customers and friends, with their photos featuring in the window display in Elland. Earlier on the day of the Fashion Show, another photoshoot was staged, and photos of these new brave souls in their underwear will be appearing later in the year. Watch out for that, residents and visitors to Elland!. :-)

Springers 'Spring Fling' 2012 Dog Show
We had a great time last Saturday at the Springers Dog Club's Annual 'Spring Fling' Fun Dog Show. Held at Woodnook Arena, near Huddersfield, around 100 dogs and their owners took part in the various competitive and fun classes throughout the day. From Agility courses to jumping classes, there were a variety of activities for all types and sizes of dogs.
Despite the challenging dark conditions of the day inside the venue, we were able to get a range of photos of competing dogs and their owners. The gallery of our photos from the event can be found in the gallery in EVENTS 2012, with small prints and digital downloads availabe to buy direct from the gallery.
